Update on current job
 

Well it looks like I am getting screwed yet again. I was told this morning by my site supervisor that I have a week to get out of Afghanistan. This is because the first part of my security clearance paperwork got declined. So here I am again looking for a new job. This has been the worst company that I have ever worked for. So heres to getting back stateside and drinking me a beer to relax and see where life takes me next.

to be very honest with you, i hate that you have lost your jobv. im sure the money was good.but im so glad your away from that hellhole.

Honestly the money was good when I first got out here. Now not so much.

Just trying to think of what to do now. Was thinking either going back to the body shop or maybe truck driving or just finding a job in the states doing what I am doing now

Trust me I can believe that.

Right now I am trying to get home and to see my daughter and spend the 4th of July with her.

I will be leaving this place for the start of my journey home friday morning. I have to go to another base and then to Kuwait. I will let you guys know when I hit Kuwait. Hopefully I can get out of Kuwait in a timely manner and get home to the daughter.

Heres an update.....

Man I cant believe that I only have 1 more full day and a morning left here on this FOB. Trying to fly outta here Friday morning to Bagram. Hopefully I am not on Bagram for very long. Then it will be Kuwait and then home bound from there. Hoping to be back in the states before July 4th so I can spend it with my daughter

Well I am currently sitting in Bagram after makign the 30 min flight lastnight. I got here at 11pm lastnight and still sitting here at 830pm. I didnt make it on the 2 flights they had today and so I am hoping to make it tomorrow.

Well today is the day that I fly to Kuwait. I am currently waiting for the plane to arrive so I cna get aboard and get my butt to Kuwait. Will be there in Kuwait this afternoon.

Im in Kuwait now!!!!!

Looks like I will be back stateside on Tuesday the 3rd. Cant wait to smell the grill on the 4th

Still in Kuwait and waiting for my plane ticket. Hopefully the company will get it done asap and I can get my butt on the way home tonight. If not then it will be tomorrow night which will put in the states on the 4th.

It is now 7:15pm and I am sitting in the Chicago airport awaiting my flight at 10pm to Nashville. I finally got the ticket late Weds afternoon which puts me in today and not by the 4th lol. Anyways I will let you guys know when I am finally in TN.

It feels GREAT to be back home. Arrived home lastnight around 2 am and the first thing I got was some beer to relax with. Found out I cant drink anymore. Had 2 and I was feeling extremely good lol

Now the fun begins. gotta get stuff straight so I can go to NV to see my daughter and cause a bunch of trouble. :twisted:

Nobody knows I am back in the states yet. Only a few people that are close to me know. it is gonna be FUN seeing the reaction from the people that dont know when I just pop up out of nowhere. :twisted: :P

Thnaks brother. I dont think I will be going to jail tho. If a situation arises and starts going that route I usually walk away to cool down before proceeding.
