Another Car Done :)
Just hit the track this weekend with my "new to me ride" I purchased this car from a forum member I met on here back in 2006/2007 and had kept in touch ever sense. Great guy to deal with. Here is the end result

question? every dragster i seen run at local tracks had headers mounted so they go up above the tires and i see a few on here like yours. is it a matter of choice or different class? just wondering :wink: |
When using 'over the top' style, you have a high probability of loading up the headers with rocks and sand while towing/cruizing back to the pits. Hot sticky tires pick up everything you roll over. Some guys mount tractor flapper covers on the 'over the top' style to prevent this from happening.
