I say you trade that Dart and some cash for a Ford. We all know Mopar aint worth as much as a Ford but thats where the cash comes in. j/k

It doesnt look like a bad deal. I dontknow that much about Mopars.

Lots of rust. In the picture from the rear, is that a puddle under the front or just a reflection on the floor?
Looks like some seepage inside the driver's side rear wheel. Is that a wire burnt in two on the drivers side header?

It looks like they took some time with the wiring. I like the terminal strip and the wires zip tied together. Fuel line looks good. I've seen too many cars with rubber hose.

I like Darts better than Dusters, less common.

Body looks kinda rough on the duster.

Keep the dart :)

Yep, what lively said.

Hi Mark !
What does the Duster have over the Dart ? Or are you just tired of the Dart and it's time for a new project. I sure can get burnt out on the same car over a period of time if it just doesn't 'do it' for me anymore...Then there are those 'keepers' that you'll NEVER let go !
The Duster is needing a total teardown and build up to get it to the same level as the Dart. Is the Duster a 'proven' combination ?

ProCamaro85 12-13-2009 07:41 PM

looks good!!!I;d trade

mopar1968 12-13-2009 08:05 PM

Before you say that go to my profile and look at my dart :!: :!: Also look at albums :!: :!:

either way if its important to you make him retag it, anyone can say it was tagged in the past. I wouldnt want it unless it would retag.

itsabird 12-14-2009 06:01 AM

keep the dart!!!.

Harbone 12-14-2009 10:51 AM

Mark,
I would do what feels right, just make sure the Duster is everything the guy says it is and go for it!! :D

mopar1968 12-14-2009 10:53 AM

Well now guys he is wanting to remove a some parts :!: :!:

Could you send your Phone number? Would like to discuss with you further. Any questions about the duster let me know. Was thinking if we did this I would like to keep the digital 7 and install a 6AL in its place, I would also want to keep the NOS as it is a new kit and has not been used yet. The Tires front and back are both new with only four runs as well as the Engine, Trans, Converter, and Drive Shaft. The heads were worked by Jenson Engines in CT. The Drivers side header has a exhaust leak, Other than that it is good to go. Could really use a paint job and the inside tin could use a through cleaning and minor maintenance, i.e. new fasteners and sealant. Drives great and will hook on dirt. The wheelie bars will get plenty of use. One more question, Do you use an alternator? I was going to install one on the Duster this week, But if you don't use one. I will keep it and install on the Dart if we trade.
Thanks

Harbone 12-14-2009 10:57 AM

oooohhhh, well then you better think real damn hard about it!

hollowayshotrods 12-14-2009 10:59 AM

Jump in your Dart and get the hell out of there!

I am with Rudy. If he is gonna change all that now what else will he change later on. Personally I think you have a better car than that Duster.

He will remove anything he thinks he can get away with

Your Dart in the hand is far better than that mysterious Duster in the rough.

There has been a high performance V8 Cadillac engine building/parts business around for years. However I'm not able to find them on the internet.
