We traded my dragster for his 1979 FLH Harley, I should have known there would have been problems right away when the dragster was unloaded after a 9 hr drive and the trade was done he tells me then the bike had a salavage title, I didn't think it would mater, but that's not the problem, the last time I had the motor built a different cam was installed and after some checking for the cam card for him to rebuild the motor I told him I would send him a cam that would be better suited for him, cam was sent Fedex and had to be signed for, and it was delivered on 8-25-09 and was signed, now he says he never recieved the cam. Here is the Fedex tracking number 070379330488802. He is now trying to sell or trade the dragster and is flat out lieing about the performance.

I don't quite understand, what exactly the problem is ?
Are you saying he owes you money for the cam,
and is trying to weasel out of paying for it ?

Please elaborate on what the exact problem is. :?

Did you sell him the other cam and now he is saying he didnt get it? What is the ad # for the dragster and what is he saying that is not true? A little more info would be helpfull.

I dont know who to believe at this point. I tried both of those tracking numbers and this is what I got.....

the tracking number is 070379330488802 signed for at his address in Green Springs OH, I may have sent him the wrong number at first that's why he is saying that he never got the cam, all I want is the cam that was in the motor, it was my fault that the car was traded with the wrong cam so after we could'nt find the numbers on the cam I sent him the right cam for a alchol only motor and asked for the other to be sent back and I would pay for shipping., now he claims that he did'nt get the cam, but it was signed for at his address, any pictures or video he has of the dragster is from me running the car and states in the add that the motor is a 555bbc when the motor in the car was a 505, claims he bought a new one, but was calling me almost every day asking for the other cam and cam card so he could get them to his buddy to get the 505 put togther. He claims the dragster has gone 6.80 on a 30% nitro mix and runs 7.60 all day, I ran a best of 7.61 on 30% and 7.73 on alchol only, ask him to show time slips from his home track, I doubt he has any. Add for the dragster is 1641938. I wouldn't be upset if the cam had been sent wrong, but it was signed for at his address, what else can I say?

Basic Member No record of past Honor payments....Observation Only.

This is my 2nd transaction from Racing Junk, 1st time is when I bought the dragster and then the seller mislead everything about the add and now this, I didn't sell anything to make a honor payment, Marcee29 (Bryan) states he has been doing this for a long time and has never made a payment, what I don't get is how a item can be signed for by someone in the house and Bryan's only words are I was not home then, well someone was and I can't understand how people say there is a mis understanding, no this is just plain old theft and if this is what happens on this site then people should buy off of other sites.

Any site out there has people that will scam the next guy without thinking twice. Just because you had bad dealings doesnt mean that everybody on this site is bad. There are a lot of people that will give you their shirts off their back.

I know there are alot of good people out there, I'm just pissed that the guy sits there trying to sell or trade the dragster telling everyone how fast it is, how it handles and so on, but the only picture is of me driving it and now he has a custom grind cam and it seems that nothing is getting resolved, what happens to the guy that he screws by trading or selling the car to? Just more scammer reading? I have posted adds in the altered section only to have them deleted, why is this, can't I let people know what kind of a guy he is and that the car is not what he claims?

Sir My post wasn't refering to you ....it is an observation By me on "Deals Gone Bad" in that i have Yet to see a Registered paying Goldclub Seller ( Paying Member) or a seller who makes Honor payments Go Belly Up on deal.....not saying it can't happen or won't happen but its a rare thing compared to the other Free site no honor payment making people...

Not saying some people who use the Free site option are Not Honest sellers and Buyers...it just happens to work out so far the Bad deals happen to fall in the "FREE SITE USERS"...Free loaders if you will.
and these same people are gonna be the 1st ones in here complaining about Racingjunk.

Now Sir..if your gonna trade on this internet your gonna have to check out your Buyer/seller a little more closley then just taking His word for it.

their seller status should be your No #1 indicator.


Did it Not dawn on you not One time that this man has NEVER made an HONOR payment on all those deals he told you he's done over the years and on top of that he is a Basic member ?

i am really cracking down on this Crap ( and exposing it) cause i am tired of seeing people handed their a$$ because they did not do their homework then come in here and blame it on Racing Junk...

Dave3zb your case is rather Mild..don't feel bad your not the 1st one and i am 200% sure you will not be the last one we deal with on this Forum regarding this issue.


Good luck...ohh By the way i hear the Guy who bought my vette is saying it run's 6.50's in the 1/4.....and it never ran better then 7.40's its not my deal anymore... SO........WHO CARES ?

As of 10-28-09 Fedx has done a follow up on the cam that was dropped off at Marcee29 (Bryan Leehan) trailer home, it was the correct address, and the driver remebers a dragster in the driveway on a trailer under a cover, there is a file number if needed, next step is to get in touch with the police in his town to have them talk with him. I have still had no call from Bryan trying to settle this. I guess it's just common for people to pull crap like this, and hope no one does anything about it, he picked the wrong person.

Just a response to your comment -If theives is what are on this site people should use other sites?? Does that mean you know of sites somewhere that has no Thieves? If thats so you need to post them,I will be the first to sign up--People are people,some good some bad,Thats where your judgment comes into play,We all misjudge some people & this looks to be possibly what happened to you--Probably few of the folks on here have never been scammed--Did you get a copy of the reciept someone signed for the cam? That would be a starting point--JMO--Thanx

FedX has everything, cam was sent to the right house, someone came to the door from the inside and signed for the cam, but now Bryan's only response is that he has no idea what happened? How would you take it? Next step is a trip to Ohio to stir up a trailer park.
