Current Alky/Race gas Prices in your area
 

Just trying to get an idea what everyone is paying.

Up here, it seems like we have some very good pricing (depending on seller)

Current going Methanol price is something like $2.19/gal and current Renegade 110 Price something around $5.70/gal

Although it is nice paying 11.50/gal for C16 again!!

What are you guys paying?

I sell fuel (alky only) and prices jumps depending on how I buy/sell it.
I buy by the drum so its a little more this way (drum fee) rather then bulk and pump into a jug. Its also cheaper to get certain brands compared to what I'd call good stuff. I made calls to 12-15 local suppliers, anything from 97 to 99.9% pure. Of course the 97% pure was cheap, I have got any in a few weeks but sold everything I have so will be ordering again soon. Looks like I'll be selling the new for 125-130 with a drum.

Thoses are some good prices, where do you live, next to a race gas refiner? lol

I pay $8 a gallon for 112 by the gallon, or $6 something by the drum which is higher than I paid last year ( which doesn't make sense)
I don't know what the alky guys are paying, but I'm pretty sure its more than 2.19 a gallon.

Can somebody explain to me why the price of race gas didnt fall when regular unleaded gas bottomed out last year?


They sure didn't waste their time about raising the price when crude oil sky rocketed, but when the price of crude oil hit rock bottom the price of race gas stayed high, wtf?
Aggravating as hell knowing we're getting the screw.

I only run alky, so I don't know the price of the other. I got my drum filled for $85 which is $1.55 a gallon on Tuesday. Glad I don't live in your area as I couldn't afford it!!!

I need to find a different place to buy methanol, I been giving 3.75 a gallon, and thought I was getting a good deal. Now, I need to find a jar of vasoline, to go with my methanol. :cry: :x Anyone in the Kansas City area, Know where I can get deals like these?

You'd of hated the stuff last year, over double the price of this year most the year.


A lot of people are still paying high price because the company they get it from hasnt sold last years stuff out and dont want to take a beating.

Welp... I am an alcoholic, so I don't know. But 110 here is 7.50/Gal in Oregon... which means it sucks to be me.

I remember complaining about paying $3.00 a gallon for CAM 2

I use the Sunoco 110 now and I think it is almost 7 bucks...haven't bought any this year yet.

I have several friends that run Ron's terminators ..all small blocks, and they love them. Their cars are also very consistant

Actually, im a dealer for just about any fuel company out there. And im a Distributor for VP fuels.

But we also sell a ton of Renegade 110/112/114/116/118 and shortly a 108unleaded.

I sold fuel for Sunoco last year as well as Torco but switched it up when they started to get shady on my large bulk loads.

Stop on up, Southeast Wisconsin and i'll hook ya up!

BTW: our Meth is 99%, and we have one tanker for ONLY Methanol. A lot of guys use the same tanker for race fuels/gasoline/and Methanol. We don't skimp!

Sheeeeit. I pay US$17.28/gal here in New Zealand for C16.

I run alcohol and live in Alberta, Canada. I paid $410 US ($9.10 a gal) for a drum of VP's M5 and just found yesterday that my local Sunoco dealer will sell me a drum of alcohol for $265 US ($5.80 a gal). I wish I had access to some of the prices you guys down south pay.

Ok I got a question, can you ship a drum of race fuel?

yes, but any cost savings is going to be eatn up by shipping costs. I have shipped fuel all over, but guys pay big $$$ because of the weight and hazordous materials.

Wow. Not sure. I know that he has been in the Carolina's and Florida a few times this year.
