shhh .. we dont want anyone to know we are happy its that price...

Much to my suprise I figured after the election it'd go way up. I am sure its 2.00 here right now but 10 mins down the road south 2.25 10 mins north 1.92

hollowayshotrods 11-14-2008 09:24 AM

Around $1.80 just north of Charlotte, NC. A bit cheaper in SC, they have MUCH lower gas tax than NC. I just hope it stays this way for awhile.

hotrod1024 11-14-2008 09:27 AM

2.03 is the cheapest i have seen here in Fayetteville so far.

itsabird 11-14-2008 09:40 AM

1.99 around here, a few miles away it,s cheaper. call me a skeptic, but i think there,s some kind,a plot afoot. :?

Gas

Definitely a whole lot better but anything over a $1.50 is too high.Hopefully it will get back that low then i will fill my truck up.May fill some drums up too!!!! Talk about the economy if it jumps back up.

desoto30 11-15-2008 10:36 AM

Man,Have you guys got it good!!89 octane here in the city here in oz has come down ~40c per liter to $1.10 IE,from $5.67 down to an amazing $4.15 per US gallon & is tipped to go to ~$1P/L by Xmas.I don't think that your recent election has had too much to do with the fuel price more likely the worldwide greed caused recession that we are in or about to enter,& of course the governments(of the developed countries)inability to manage the countries affairs.

Harbone 11-15-2008 10:55 AM

its a $1.68 this morning in Bloomington Illinois!!!!!!!!

suicidebomb 11-15-2008 11:36 AM

Don't know what the hell is wrong with La. but close to me it's still $2.17, and we're pumping 30% of the gas across the US thru pipelines from La. I did see $2.09 in Monroe last tuesday.

Zip.
