Not trying to hijack this thread or anything but what is the benefit of putting a fluid dampner ( balancer ) on a rotating assembly that's already been internally balanced?
The balancer is just neutral anyway correct? I thought they were only of benefit on a motor that was externally balanced? Learn me. Cp |

Yes it is stock 1.76 but she will be changed very soon to a 1.80 straight cut.So Pioneer dampners are no good and i should go with ATI or Fluidamper

|
i have never heard of pioneer but i do know ati's the best. 180's asap :D

you can check out these guys and ask them about theirs, you might
be surprise who the supply http://www.catpep.com/ I put a bbc block together for a friend and used their lt. wt. h-beam rods and asked them for a stretch number for their bolts and he told me "The torque is 65 ft-lbs and stretch is 5-7/1000". Thanks for your question, we sold these rods over 20 years, we supplied to EAGLE, SCAT, LUNATI, and TOMEI before" just another conection  good luck |
dampner
ATI is the only way to fly. They can be recertified, and rebuilt if need be.
|
I ended up buying a Fluidampr. Nothing against ATI.
