Pinks all out
 

I just found out Pinks all out will be at my home track June 28,2008. Gateway International Racetrack. Madison Il.
I'm definetly gunna be there trying to win the money. Don't know if our cars will get in the show but were gunna be there trying to get in.
Just thought I'd let you guys know.

that will rule the 3 of you on all out. that would be the best of the best there. keep us up to date on it my memory stinks

Think I need to take vacation in June next year.

Hey Vince,

How you know what bracket they are going to pick? From watching the show it's hard to tell if thay are going to pick 9.0's or 10.0's. Watching the all day show yesterday they were all different at different tracks.

Your right Zip, no one knows what ET there gunna pick. I don't even think they know until that day after everybody makes there passes. It depends on how many cars they get running close ET's. Could be 8.0, 9.0,10.0 or 11's. I'm just gunna go and hope for the best. If nothing else it will be a good time at the track. Plus I might get a chance at 10 grand.

Zip,

No one has a clue to what they will run until the day of the races and the cars make passes.
It would make no sense to say they wanted a 9 second field and only 8 cars ran in the 9's.
They wait to see where they have 16 car fields and then see who out of those times are closest.

It is all BS that they know what class they will pick ahead of time.

They just had pinks all out in az last week I was going to go and I am happy I did not make the trip. My car runs 9.7sec in the 1/4 mile and I dont have my nhra lic yet so I through that I will get one run in and they would not let me run again anyway the picked a 12sec class so who knows what they will do next time but I am going to wait till they get closer before I run my car.

Get your licence.
Go to all of them you can, it will increase your chance to get on/

Your last statement makes no sense, "I am going to wait till they get closer before I run my car." HUH?

They may run a 9 second class next time and a 14 second class after that.

It all depends on how many cars show up and out of the total cars which 16 are within hundredths, sometimes thousands of each other.
Those 16 may run 10.50-10.54.
There is no way to predict

Pinks ALL OUT Gateway St. Louis June 27-28
 

Myself and several of my friends, locally and from the BBF Forum, are attending the Pinks All Out event at gateway in June.

Post up your estimated ET's and let's see who all is close? Several of my buddies will be running similar times as myself so that increases the odds that we will get picked.

9.59 at 142mph with a C4 tranny. Switching to a glide and custom 9" converter so who knows if it will run quicker, the same or slower? I'm hoping the same or quicker :wink: Will find out in a few weeks....... I hope, depends on the weather.

I didn't get signed up. Plus they won't let us in it because we were in an episode of PINKS. So you won't see me at Gateway for this event. I'm going to Super Chevy Indy. :D

Hell, I've seen several people off the show on some all out episodes. One loud mouth red-head in a '80s camaro comes to mind right off the bat. He was in the Dallas all out after being on regular pinks. I'll be running the Shreveport event at the end of the month, along with a buddy of mine running my other car.

Your right but we just talked to Rich last week and he said due to people complaining from now on he can't let that happen. So, we can't go or if we did we couldn't be in the top 16. Oh well, I would of loved to be able to win that money.

So did you get your cars in? Registration was 3 weeks ago & heard they closed registration after first 400 cars in about an hour & half. If you did preregister, you'll be a spectator. That's the show taping on June 27/28?
