I BUILT THE COMPLETE FRAME AND MADE ALL MY OWN BRACKETS AND HANGERS /THEN HAD A PRO WELD IT ALL UP/ AND AMAZINGLY IT ALL CAME OUT WITHIN AN 1/8" EVERYWHERE :x :? 8)

i have some more gussets and bracing to do / then another paint job on the frame and i will be ready for motor mounts and my narrowed rear end[ which isn't built yet :oops: ]

Lively I was looking at your build again and was wondering what kind of engine you where planning on putting in it. Are you going to get a crate motor or you have one built already and how narrow are you going to go with the rearend and gear because that looks like some big meats on it now.

1- I AM GOING TO INSTALL THE RANCHERO BODY /FLOORS/ AND PARTIAL BED FLOOR ON THIS FRAME[ I WILL CUT AND FIT IT TO THE FRAME AND WELD IT IN LIKE THE UNIBODY BEFORE WAS/ THE NEW FRAME IS DESIGNED TO FOLLOW THE OLD FIREWALL AND CAB FLOORS :idea: :idea:

2-I AM TAKING THE OLD FRONT SHEETMETAL AND MAKING IT A ONE PIECE TILT UNIT

3-THE REAR END IS MOVED FOWARD 9 INCHES AND THE FRONT AXLE IS 6 INCHES FOWARD OF THE STOCK WHEEL LOCATION-[106 INCH WHEELBASE NOW]

4- THE ENGINE IS A WARMED UP 68 TORINO 302 W/TUNNEL RAM/ HOMEMADE FENDERWELL HEADERS/A SMALL CAM---C4 AUTOMATIC[ FOR NOW]---AND 4.56 GEARS IN THE REAR

5-THE REAR END IS 49 INCHES OUTSIDE OF DRUMS 8) 8) -WITH 60 INCH OLD STYLE LADDER BARS THAT I AM BUILDING AT THIS TIME/ LEAF SPRINGS OFF OF A CHRYSLER

6-AND YES JBSJUNK--I HAVE A 10 HORSE BRIGGS BESIDE MY GARAGE AT THIS TIME THAT MY SON IS JUST ITCHING TO PUT IN THERE!!!!! :lol: :lol:

Lively,that is the best stance I've seen in awhile.Your car sits perfect.Wheels are perfect.Paint is perfect.That is by far the coolest El Camino :lol: I've seen in a long time.Very good job.
