oh i am building a 350 with 9.5:1 compression 1.94 1.5 heads edelbrok torquer intake holley 750 and a summit racing cam 292/292 488/88 im hoping to end up with around 350 at the fw what do you guys think??
what about 2.02 1.6 head are they good for strret use or should i stick with the 1.94 any other things i can do to squeez a few more h.p out of it?? thanks logan |
go with 2.02 motor will breath better
|
i know but i was talking to a guy that builds the engines for cars at our local short track and he thinks i would be ok with 1.94 for street use he thinks 2.02 are for more strip car rather than street
|
The 1.94's are better for the street. You won't see any gain unless you'll be above 6500rpm most of the time. I'll bet that cam and your springs are done by then anyhow.

my issue with 1.94 heads is they dont breath well and 2.02 heads were stock on lost of 350 motors destined for street from factory but maybe just me
