AWWWW B Juice you stole my line!!! Nothing to be dreaded more than a Corvette motor with a 3/4 race cam. Well except one with a full race cam of course!!! Im a chevy guy but the people who live by these phrases really show there depth and knowledge really quick! I have heard about more 9sec 55 chevys with a 327 and 4 speed than there was ever built. Of course who ever had it doesnt have it now!

X2 with the BOSS 302 and the 428 police interceptor. The original Boss looks like a CLeveland! To bad they only made so few of them, it would have been alot more fun to have some rivalries in the neighborhoods if they didnt get themselves or anyone else hurt wouldnt it! You know.....fun!

All joking aside...I know someone on here must KNOW the origin of the phrase "3/4 cam" ZIP what about you? You been around a looooooong time. Seriously, is it just some made up crap or was there ever a cam marketed as a 3/4 cam?

TheRabbit 08-02-2009 04:15 PM

If there was a 3/4 cam no way you guys up North ever had a chance to buy one cause everybody in the south had one. You could put one in any car, truck or go cart back in the 80's. Wish I still had mine!! LOL.

We weren't interested because we were too busy inventing the 13/16 cam

TheYellaBrick 08-02-2009 06:51 PM

I hear tell that 3/4 cams were actually straight 8 cams just shortened up a tad
