Every word mark said above is true. no more than 2 minutes after I sent harbone 66 a pm explaining why everybody on this forum left , you banned me for about an hour before reinstating me . pretty coinsidental that this happens right after a pm that included you (tom) in less than a favorable lite with the tone of your pm's to members here that you banned me. well I can back Mike's story, he sent me a PM that stated what had happened and was very specific in its tone and then he could not get on the forum for at least an hour. he sent me a few emails during that time and I had no problem getting on the forum during that period. now was it just a coincidence?? I really dont know but it was very strange... :?

I have always been somebody who will stick up for my friends, and mopar 1968 is one hell of a good man and would help almost anybody, who needed it and that is a fact!!!!!

I have been banned from a couple of forums over the years and every time it wasn't just the inability to get on the forum...When I tried to log in a message would come on screen telling me that I had been banned and it gave a reason.
Maybe different forum software but I would think if he were "banned" it would have said it.

I have been around taking a peek, but have been listening rather than speaking- here's why.

We have some great regular guys on this forum, and especially the scammer forum- Total bulldogs, who know where to look and how to dig up info.

The problem is that a great many of the posters on the scammer forum seem to expect the regulars to do all the work. We have to post the add number, pm the other party, do the web searches-

I get PMs from people who have been scammed who want me to make long distance calls, look up this or that- makes me laugh sometimes.

So I decided to take a break, work on my racer and build some transmissions, and see if some of the newbies could figure it out. I don't think they can though :)

Just curious....out of all the detective work some on here have done, has any of it ever actually resulted in someone getting a refund from a crook? Has anyone ever been charged with a crime as a result of the "sharks" ? I'm just asking, I'm not trying to be a wise ass.
.... Sometimes the scammer section is a good tool to warn others..I don't think it is as much a help in getting someone's money back as it is exposing the scumbags...therefore preventing them from ripping off anyone else. Just my opinion and again...I'm not being a wise guy just asking.

Scorp, good to see you are still around. I understand why you are listening & not speaking as much.... besides, working on the race car is a high priority.

1. I don't like the feeling/tension from what was said here... (pg 1 & pg6) what the hell is going on??

2. Mark, you are a good man. Hemi, you too. Many others that I will not mention. It is a brotherhood... so where did the continuity go???

3. Tom: I understand that we do not see what you see. I understand that we do not answer the complaints you may have, etc... there is a fine line between freedom or speech & governing a thread. I too would stick up for Mark if need be. No one likes to be told what to do or be corrected... we are grown men here. Are we not all on the same team? I can remember many threads that have gone astray w/ out a reprimand... not sure why you would single out Mark or Hemi specifically when the are part of the back-bone here. Maybe I am confused; don't fully understand, but as you have reminded us many times: "this is a free PUBLIC forum".

Maybe I have said too much, hell maybe it is not my place. I do know that Mark is not delusional or on mind-altering-meds. Let's not make this whole forum a "US AGAINST THEM" mentality... please. A "Mod" in my humble opinion should not put down the forum users who pay to be here.

thanks scoot, the core group of guys on this forum are great guys, over time here we have sharred alot here. when we haven't seen one of the regulars on here we share concern. most of us have never met but share a bond. we love racing, cars, and love helping each other and others visiting the forum with advice in solving there problems. Last but not leased WE HATE SCAMMERS THIEFS & CROOKS. and go out of our way to rat them out and show they cant hide behind a keyboard. A special shout out to SCORP, his efforts to rat these guys out and educate everybody here on methods to run these guys down and prove they can't hide is priceless!!

Just to be clear I wasn't saying the work Scorp and the others have done wasn't helpfull to people.

I really don't like reading the scammer section. It absolutley disguss me that so many people are crooks. I never take pride in getting over on someone else, but many people live for it. No way would I spend the time doing what scorp has done because I just hate dealing with all the bs, but I'm glad he does because if it wern't for him (and others) many of the scammers would get away with it.

Lets not forget about MIKE 2124 in Alabama . he was hounded for several months until he gave up and refunded money and was prosecuted , if it wasn't for the guys on here he would have never been found...he turned out to be in the same "CLUB" as littlerod...JMO

OK, per request here is the PM I was sent from MEMRACING thats seemed to result in him being banned for awhile. I copy and pasted this word for word. This was a reply he sent to me when I had asked what happened on the forum.

"Hey Chris, if you go back a couple of pages back of threads in the scammers section you will see a bunch of locked threads that the mods started to interfere with the forum, during the same time mods were pm ing members scolding about posts & thread bumping. ( I even got scolded by topsportsman for bumping threads, I wrote him back and said no problem I wouldn't do it anymore and he wrote back ragging on me again) a lot of the other guys said they were getting the same thing. yes , I think some ego's got bruised, I my opinion nothing that cant be repaired, thats why I posted what the problems were. just wish the others would do the same! I think we have a great bunch of guys here. they need to get over the butt hurt and state there case!! IM STILL HERE & NOT BUTT HURT!!"

Heres my reasons for no longer being a regular:

1. Our site (forum) being censored to protect the thieves.

2. MOST folks that have been ripped off don't want to do the "leg work"
required to be made whole again.

3. PJ and his cronies are interested in making money, no interest in any
attempt to keep the scammers out. (See my example below).

4. Apparently some folks in charge are allowed to "talk down" to others,
while the ones without "the button" are banned for doing so. If you are
going to preach political correctness, at least practice it yourself!

Now go ahead and ban me, I probably said something the "bosses"
don't like. Let me give you my heartfelt thoughts on that before you do:

I was locked out of my RJ account after I sent this email to Keith the Scammerboy. aka rodsrus, traderguy, out of Greenup Ky.
I had to actually call the RJ office and talk to them about it. I was verbally reprimanded for misuse of the RJ message system!! Hell will freeze over before I renew my account next year! I am very unhappy as well that RJ has the balls to ask for honor payments when they are unfamiliar with what honor means. YES PJ I am talking directly to you, since you are the "head honcho".
Ask yourself PJ: Who better represents your site, hollowayshotrods, memracing, bbchevy, mopar1968 etc, etc..... or "scammers r us"?

I thought that this site was awesome and that everybody was family on here. I am literaly in shock at reading everything that was posted on this thread. I am kinda like Lively right now with that I hope that it gets better but at the same time I am thinking or I already know that what he had going before will never be the same again.

Right is right. Wrong is wrong. To me, it is that simple. If in fact, the mods have read private PM messages, that is wrong. otherwise, it should not be called a "PM". I would like this clarified so we know.

Name calling & insinuating that someone is delusional or on "meds" is a cheap shot... we all know Mark is a good guy. At the same time, the Moderator is basically calling him a liar too.

A moderator should also be a leader. In fact, this particular moderator is creating an "us against them" mentality around here. Locking a thread is fine if they see fit... go ahead. I would say use sound judgment when doing so however. Otherwise, the name calling & button power combined with attacking peoples integrity is unnecessary- especially from someone who should be a leader.

I have probably said some things on here I shouldn't have. Maybe my emotions got the best of me a few times too. None the less, I will stand corrected if I have gotten out of line. In this particular thread, I think the moderators should apologize to those who been treated unfairly... or have had their integrity challenged unjustly.

How about that Tom & PJ? I think you should be held to a HIGHER standard than the rest... it is what you signed up for!!! Every great leader is going to make mistakes. It is what you do about them that makes you better. If you come on here & post that you have done nothing wrong, you are not sorry, and feel you owe no one nothing, then that will be better than not responding at all.
