Carl came and picked up motor from me this morning and paid remainder of money. This deal is done and I want to thank everyone invovled. I am sure without this website it would have never been resolved. I wish Carl well and will try and remove all personal information from my posts. Thanks

I also called Boyd's racing engines and they said it was not the first time they heard this story. This guy has been doing this for a while. He also uses his company work phone (Basic Energy Services) to cover his ass when he screws somebody over. So watch what you buy from him! He is a not an honest man. All I want is to settle this without use of a lawyer. But it looks like that is the route I have to go. He will surely post that he doesn't know me and never sold me the motor... Actually, I was happy to recover my money! But as I read all the lies he posted and saying how crazy I am... I get a little irritated! I really do feel sorry for any person who tries to pull these stunts on people. They are that bad off they need to resort to this. I can not imagine how humiliating it was to come on here and completely change his story

like i said i kept my promise i have not and will not ever sale something on here again or anywhere for that matter it has been almost 5 months since i last sold anything,and you think this guy waited 6 months to say something about motor he bought last year,he just sent me an email today before he made this post on racingjunk.com. well just sue me my address is 9 park street lone grove oklahoma 73443 do what you have to do,but there is no way im going to beleive you just waited 6 months to complain about motor you bought from me ,you have my actual address so have papers served to me that is fine,but you had my actual cell phone number and you have never contacted me in anyway in over 6 months by phone or email,so when we go to court show them where you have tried to contact me and i didnt answer that is a lie. i have always answered my phone even the people who i have refunded money to who really had a reason to call and not 6 months later,but if you think i am going to refund your money 6 months later your crazy,and i seen ad and have copy of ad where you was trying to sale that motor yourself for just what you paid for it,but i am currently unemployed due to lack of work in economy so just sue me and we will let court work it out,but if you had problem with motor you would not of been trying to sale it last month on racingjunk.com,like i said i will never have this problem again because i dont sale shit anywhere at all any more,because when you get something in trade and you try to sale it and it is not what they told you you get into these problems.but just sue me and if court says you win when i get back to work you will get paid,but cant pay you for something you had 6 months and was trying to sale it last month for same price i sold it you for.also you are saying you took it home and tore it apart and was not what it was suppose to be but 4 months later you try to sale it for what i told you it was in first place,that story does not make sense,i will post ad on here where you had it for sale last month and listed all parts just as i had them listed last year on here where you bought motor from !!!!

Bad Day
When I met carl it was a bad day, Sprinkling. He had the motor sealed up nicely with bolt on covers. Seemed a trust worthy guy. I liked Him? Tried calling a cpl. times just to ask questions about the motor on the way home. Didn't return messages? I was just stupid I guess for not looking at the time. Got home unloaded the motor and had back Surgery two days later. Been layed up until just a few days ago. Pulled off the intake and low & behold it wasn't as described. Didn't go any further. It's still on His pallet. Going to figure out what to do next motor wise. I'll never do that again. Usaully build My own! But it was a Great Deal?

Tried to sell it, To pay medical bills or trade it for another motor that might have sold. I relied on your discription. Glad I didn't sell it. Then I would have been in the same situation that you are. I even ended up selling the car it was going in. Is there a problem with that? The point is that when I did get into it, it wasn't what is was suppose to be. And again, thankfully it didn't sell before finding out it wasn't what it really was. If you look at My EBAY account, I'm honest and have a 566 rating 100% positive! Don't waste your time trying to tear me down. You were just not honest! Live with it.

Carl; Pssssssstttt. Use the old "I didnt sell him the engine" line like the one you used above with the last guy. Everyone will believe you, he'll go away, and it wont cost you anything. He might be out of work, not have any "goods" to sell (Hey Carl werent you Goodparts once upon a time?", and have no prospects, but courts dont care about that and sometimes judges get creative. Maybe the judge will sentence him to be your Butler or something for six months. I was trying to sell it as it was descibed to me. I thought that is what it was until it was recently looked inside of it. I TRUSTED WHAT CARL SAID!!! It sat since I bought it. because I was physically unable to take it apart. I'm glad that it didn't sell because I was lied to about what was in it from the beginning!! GET IT!!!! Then I would have been as Big of a ASSHOLE as CARL! Luckily I wasn't able to be put in that position by selling it to someone else.

WOW!!! It must have been a good Christmas for the Reed Family! I wish you luck and also would suggest you call your local police department and the Ardmore police department. Make a public record and then contact your local internet fraud attorney in the DA's office. They will be able to get paperwork started, he tries to hide behind all the stuff you didn't do! But the truth is he defrauded you and there are two guys attached to this post who would be very willing to stand behind your story.
My cousin is the DA for Sedgwick County here in Kansas and he said I could sue for the value of the motor! He defrauded you of a $10000.00 or more motor so you can sue for the total value. Not just what you lost on the motor. Also add mileage, wasted time and months of stress. Also he will have to travel to your local court and that is always a hassle. I at least got my $ back and can move on. But anything he says won't hold up in court. All you have to do is show character and print this post out he shows all different kinds of that! |
