Jody it is a Mopar filter with a special made adapter...It works great and alot more filter area....

Saw it at PRI. Was told if you don't have 20-30 mintues to cool, then you are wasting your money. The design feature is not for your normal hot lapping bracket car. I think the set up could be duplicated much cheaper.

Plumb the lines to the side of the pan using some quick release fittings with one-way valves from a hydraulic shop, use an old Melling oil pump with a drill attached to it and run the trans fluid through a coil of copper line sitting in an ice box - cools a race TH400 in 10 minutes to completely cold....and you can also keep the beer cold if the ice box is big enough....

We use Weldon high temp pumps for our differential cooling system. The model 9200 is what you want along with a cooler from Summit or Jegs or.....

Wouldn't that only cool the fluid in the pan, not the trans and converter?
I think it may help but I think the real heat is in the converter.

I use nitrous to cool mine does the job quickly :!: :!:
