Oct. 16th O'K for me talked to Jimmy Smith and he definately wants to make it, Tracy S. also, and possibly another Ford car (yuk) JK, it's one bad motor scooter, if he makes it you will see. I still have to get my 434" in my car and build a 482" for an 1800 lbs tube chassis Dodge Datona injected on gas who also wants to be there i still have a lot of work to do on it, including setting up the injection. Rabbit there is a sand track just outside of Batesville Ms. that runs on sun. afternoon, i don't know what the payout is but there are some pretty good cars/trucks that run there. my house is only 10 miles away from the track so if you bring your truck i'd go and i'm sure Jimmy S. would also, even if you can't/don't bring your truck, we'd all like to say howdy to a fellow racer and RJ friend. Heck i wouldn't mind if James brought his 8 sec. Camero that he traded for, and i'll just bet that there willl be enought good tuners/minds at Byhalia the the car can get into the 6's ( James (midsouth hotrods)this is an open invitation to you you personally, all the BS that's gone on in the forum set aside)

You can improvise it to the direction your coming from but the track is on rabbit ridge road.

Considered going to Byhalia for the get together, but the 1700 mile trip seems a bit much. Hope you all have a great time and have safe trips. :)

Man, I am so envious of you guys... I would love to be there. I would love to meet you all too!! Fact is, I would bring my newest ported & polished/piped/jetted/milled 42cc scooter for my pit-bike & (as long as there is a nearby hospital)... show yall some moves that made me famous... LOL

The October 16th race at Byhalia raceway in Byhalia Ms will be a benefit race for the St Judes Children research Hospital in Memphis.

They'll have drawings, raffles, cake walks etc, spread the word.

Just found out my OSHA class is on the 31st, which means I can make the trip!

Good to hear that, i have the utmost respect for both St Jude and La Bonner childrens Hospitals in Memphis for all the things they each do for our stricken children, there is just none better.

mouse , we probally will be at jimmy smiths pawn shop that day at noon , it is in batesville , ms..you can google it and get directions , not hard to find...he also has a speed shop in same building with all kinds of stuff...hope everybody that can come does so , will be fun , Rabbit , you still coming?? No extra fees partner, you can drive your daily driver into the pits, all you pay is the spectator fees. Yes you can park with the people you come to see/meet $10.00 adults children under 12 free. We'll all be parked just to the right of the entry gate, right close to the bathrooms, you can bring beer in but no glass bottles please. I plan to be there about 4:00pm as i think most of the other guys do also.

My car ran 4 565's in a row this past saturdaynight, the 4th pass was in dial in jackpot, I ran a 565 dead on with a zero and won. :wink:

Just a little heads up.... The Tbird made 7 footbrake passes last weekend at Hub City all within .003. Dead on dial no problem. Light no problem. Win no problem. Won 7 this year in 10 outings. Should run 5.40.. Not trying to pick on Charlie but we are goin to be loaded for bear. My sled should run 5.90 or better in electronics with the wheels 4ft in the air every pass. Get ready guys its gonna be a show. My last pass we retuned and put in on the bumper for 300 ft.
