I think many of can say that we are worried about the misguided direction of the current administration. THIS IS THE MAIN ISSUE WE ARE TRYING TO CONVEY (Radicalz). We are not talking about Bush or the last 8 years... you are. What we are saying is that the direction & goals of the current administration is what concerns us. It really is not about Republican or Democrat really; I have friends that are Democrat that believe we are in trouble right now... because of Obama & company. Do you trust Pelosi's goals/actions???? Come on, this crap they are doing is Anti-American. In just over 2 months!!! Look at the the agenda in JUST 2 months!!! Think about what he can do in 4 years. If you had actually READ any of the news stories on the Drudge report(one of MANY news sources I read daily),you'd see that the news stories that are posted are from ALL OVER THE FREEKIN WORLD FROM MANY DIFFERENT SOURCES !! "Politic's & Religion..."

I see why many people here say the don't get involved with politics & religion.... it can cause division.

Do I really care if a fellow gearhead voted for Obama??? It is the fact that we are brothers in auto-performance indeed that brought us all together here on this site.

Somone else saw this dillema of politics & religion long ago causing the division & prolems it can create amoungst us... but I continue to get fired up each time these topics arise here. Other people here just don't chime in when we are at battle because of these topics. Those people know who they are & I commend you for your control. Back in 06' I did not join RJ to pound the keyboard in frustration about things I really don't have control over... helping a man come to know the lord is one thing, but arguing about the corrupt & flawed politic scene is completely another. If Radicalz & I never brought up politics, I am sure we would have more in common that we know. He is a fellow gear head!! I am just thinking out loud right now, so I am not going to tie in a solution/idea at the end of this post.... but I am sure I am not the only one who has considered this. You are 1000% correct. And I'm sure a great portion of us would be just a friendly bunch of car / racing folks when 'outside' the religion / politics discussions. This is still America and we are free to voice our opinions and I personally encourage civil discourse. I'm guilty as heck in getting fired up when a differing opinion starts the immature action of name calling and false accusations. I'm VERY passionate about our current 'situation' in OUR capital city when our NATION's very EXISTENCE is at such high risk. We have a very high probability in loosing the freedom of enjoying our car passions !

i agree with you scooter 110%. i hate politics even though i have a few degreesin political science.i have not talked politics in years until i came here. but i hold back so much because then i start to sound like them buttheads on msnbc.also way to much typing for a one finger wanderer.i have lost a few friends over the years because of politics.all my fault because ive always been so passionate about whats best for my beloved country.we have wandered way to far from what america was suppose to be and im afraid we will never get back to where we belong.so to hell with talking about it. ill try to keep how i feel and whats the right way to go to myself. rad. z nice ride. i aint into camaros much but yours is well RAD. Well guys, i sure don't have the enswers... but I hate to see us get to hung up on varying opinions about politics. I do agree w/ Double/D though... feedom of speech, voice concerns, our country needs help, etc...
I think many of us feel the same way though... America is slipping. On the other hand, there is a fine line w/ politics that can create division between us. This division is not something from the God I worship... it is in fact from the opposite. Every once in a while I want to say that I am humble enough to admit that I am getting judgemental or not being fair. Scooter

It's very frustrating and aggravating to me that We the People have let our political 'leaders' lead U.S. down this suicidal path which is dividing OUR country, families and friends. This is what happened with the Civil War(which sure wasn't very civil). We are ALL Americans and need to fight together to save this beacon of FREEDOM, OUR U.S.A.. Civil discourse and open minded discussions are needed NOW. Research the TRUTH from a variety of sources YOURSELF. Do not take to heart the words of only a limited number of news outlets. 90% of working and seriously concerned American citizens do NOT have the time to do that much needed research, which is what the socialists work on to destroy American Capitalism. The uninformed, uneducated, and lazy are VERY easy to fool and lead.
