No, I meant alot scammers use Gmail.
|
Don't know where you got your information as to gmail users are often scammers.
I'm a gmail user as is a lot of people and friends I know. We are not scammers. I post ads on this website and from time to time use my E-mail address. With you making such a statement could hurt my sales and other people also. You should re-track that statement. |
That might be what you meant, but not what you said. Scammers use all kinds of
servers, you name them they use them. |
I think I did retract my misstatement. I will do it again if you missed it above. I meant to say that a lot of scammers I get emails from are using Gmail. Sorry for the first statement, it was wrong and not what I meant. I should also say I see this more on Craig's List, scammers using Gmail, than any other form of Email. They send you a generic message that does not mention the item you have advertised and often offer to meet you at a generic place like Wal-Mart or a gas station. I get several of these messages a week on Craig's List on items I have for sale locally that are heavy or difficult to ship. They are just trying to get you to respond to get your email info and use it against you.

I bought a car sight unseen from Australia and then shippped it to Australia
I transfered the funds straight into his account. I did a heap of checks and built a relationship with the guys over the couple of weeks negotiating. Sometimes there are legitimate overseas transactions. In saying that, I did get scammed for $1500 for an 871. |
I don't quite understand buying a car from Australia, and then shipping it
to Australia. |
Don't do I have a deal the same way.would not send cash, said he will send certified check with money to pay his shipper.
