Its my experience when your selling A part to anyone that cant hold it in his hand & look at it himself, you would describe any defects / repairs to him..Odds are he would not have paid you $350 for it if you had..It would have cancelled the deal for me for sure..JMO

This is true, if I knew the base plate was damaged "I would not have bought it" .. No he did not or was willing to return my $$ or pay for a new base plate.. He said "I am a quality person with a very honest name in my community." Why would he just blow me off, and not take care of this. So if you want a " fantastic shape " Carb just buy new. Looks like Jeg's will get more of my $$
