I have had both the Edelbrock and Carter brand carbs in the past on a street vehicle and neither one of them ran right but i guess for a street vehicle they are okay if you already have one but definitely are not for perfomance.I switched mine out for a Holley and was a huge difference.I would never buy a new Edelbrock or Carter Carb ever again.

Follow what everybody else and your carb jet chart says to get a good baseline and when thats set just follow what the O2 sensor says to get best lean! I did this before taking my Jeep to the dyno shop and they spent an hour trying to get it better but ended up with my settings in the end, proof that it works I guess?
