454R 2 tenths faster on my 468 a few years back, no other changes but a intake and was told by engine shop at the time i'd see that much :D

454R 2 tenths faster on my 468 a few years back, no other changes but a intake and was told by engine shop at the time i'd see that much :D

Well,if thats the Case?Then i Need to STACK about 4 of them on Top of each other?Cause this thing is a PIG!!!

I had one of them T/G's on my 396 but it was 4150 on a 4150 W/ oval port heads, that sum bitch hauled the mail!
Maybe more with 454R who knows, its gone.

I like my DART intake on my 496 though - it really hauls the mail. :lol: >Cp

I'm REALY EMBARRASSED to Tell?
Lets just say that something is Way WRONG,as like the Previous Owner had STRECHED the Truth on the Engine Components(Comp.Ratio)I will be Pulling the frt.of the Motor apart,this afternoon to see what it has for a Cam???Got to Start somewhere,then maybe a Bore Scope to see if theres any DOME on the Pistons>?
Cause-6.72 @ 107 is about 3-Days Late!
I was thinking 5.70's @ Worst?
After Spending about 6-Hrs trying to find the Miss.?We finally changed the MSD Box.It runs Fine Now,JUST is NOT Making any HP?
The Opinions of all of the Bystanders?They seem to think that the Motor is set-up for a LARGE DOSE of N02?
Like i said it runs Fine,just dont sit you back in the Chair???

Changed the msd box ?? I assume the al3 was not in there at this point ?

I agree its way slow for what you have, I was on the same page and thinking 5.70's without much effort. Hopefully it will be something easy. Let me know on the box as it came out @7.54 and new digital just went 7.54 a week later . :D

No,the 7AL-3 was installed at that point(After Locating all of the Accesories)?
I was realy Looking for Mid 5's,so lets say i'm PRETTY Down about the Whole thing!
But,to be off,over a Full second in the 1/8?I just dont know at this point?
Like i said,guess i Need to see whats in it for a Stick?Then go from there?
Cause the Blue Bottle SURE AINT GOING TO HAPPEN!!!

Locating all the accressories ? This box had been in my stuff for 2 years without a glitch so there is another off it the box was making it miss ??

Cam would be a good place to start if its way off, do a leak down on the motor, or running compression check or converter just that far off?
