You do understand that you can bend that shifter arm inward a little to help clear the header? You didn't say how much the collector needs to be moved but you can move that arm some without hurting anything.

finally got time to finish.
fabed up new crossmember, shift cable holder on trans,had to cut the collecter and reweld did some lunches in my driveway,feels good. taking it to the track on sunday for the great american bracket race. |
