ITI,
I am very sorry but you are asking for an impossible piston to be built. I think you need to rethink your combo.

pistons

i was sold a srp je 12.5 and now am told I need 11.1 I call je they said not to cut more than 40t off top , what can i do, thanks

ARUSSELL 08-25-2008 02:54 PM

I need more info like a part number or the engine combo to find your piston. Some of our pistons have thick domes but if it is a lightweight part the .040 is probally max.

do you guys (or can you) make custom pistons for old harleys?

ARUSSELL 09-04-2008 11:32 AM

We have a good selection of Harley pistons in stock but can custom build if you have an engine we do not make parts for.

Hi, I have a set of JE pistons, part #213107, how much can be machined off these, can they be machined to an inverted dome? Thanks Dean

To tell you how much you can cut off depends on the usage of the engine. I need to know if drag or circle track, fuel type, and if nitrous is being used.
