i think that it,s mark williams that won,t interchange.

i would think 35 spline is 35 spline no matter who make it. i have a strange spool & moser axles, i've never had a problem.(knock on wood) :)

Williams has a different spline than Moser. Thet are not interchange with each other. Moser has a more coarse spline.

just don't make since to me how you can the same diameter axle(35 spline) and have a coarser or finer spline. can someone school me on this because to me in my head if you had the same spine axle(one coarse & one fine) the coase one would have to have a bigger diameter and to me better.mw stuff has to be better than moser right?thanks for any info on this.

John,

It is the pitch and the angle used to cut the splines that are different. The diameters and the number of splines are the same. Kind of hard to explain, but the "valley" between the splines on some are more narrow which can make the "peak" of the spline a little wider.
