As long as the converter/flexplate is spinning,the front pump is spinning.If the motor is on,the fluid is pumping.

Fluid is locked in the valve body and what is in the converter stays and nothing is traveling through the cooling lines. Sorry if I made it unclear.

It hooks up to your throttle pedal or up at the end of the cable on the carb. You let go of the transbrake button and it automatically brings it to full throttle when you have it set to come on is upto you. Depending on the type the pedal could go to the floor with force from it or it could just fall to the floor with no pressure. |

Hammertime forgot to add that it's controlled through your delay box, most have an SLE function with adjustable time for the throttle to go WOT before brake release. I have run mine at .8 and at 1 sec. before release. You light the second bulb on the mat and the box does the rest - slicker'n snot! 8) JB
