That is not correct. They only require an NHRA APPROVED diaper. The SFI is not rquired until you for TA/D or better. The only place that I know requires the SFI approved diaper for 9.99 and faster is Norwalk for Super Pro and Comp.

Shawn one of is getting bad info from NHRA then, SFI is required for all super classes, td classes in both NHRA and IHRA . I have a non sfi diaper that used to be good to use and I called to make sure it was and got a no go.

If you go NHRA.com, mouse over to rules, scroll down the list to "accepted oil retention devices", click, and download the list, you'll find a list of all currently accepted diapers and the classes that require what.....I'm sure the rule states "NHRA accepted oil retention device mandatory" in Supergas, Supercomp, & advanced et. It doesn't say SFI approved just NHRA accepted. The list says the same.

Good for five years? What is going to "wear out" on it that would make it a necessity to replace it?
