Still boxing, but working w/ kids now (my body is too old to keep sparing w/the big dudes). Got a set of heads in machine shop for my 68 Chevelle & plan on doing some work & Paint soon on it. Work is good- still a fact rep for BowTech. Everything is okay... wife is good, still trying to pray every day & rely on God for grace, common sense, & continued sobriety. I miss you dudes!! I am going to be driving for TMC transport out of Des Moines Iowa. From everything I had heard and read its a great company to drive for and the pay aint bad either. They say for the first year you can make from $40,000 to $60,000

I have always ran at music city raceway ( union hill) but iam a about the same distance or a little less to clarksville. I am suppose to be off on Fridays now so I thought I would give that track a try.

Its not a bad track. I think the most that the guys complain about is that they really dont clean off the shut down area after they run the circle track so there is a little bit of red clay on it.

I have heard clarksville hooks up better than the hill. How is the car count?

The car count is decent I think. Another thing I hear drivers complain about is how they have street cars go down the track with street tires on too during the brackets.

They got some nice cars show up. The fastest I seen there were in the 6s.

Same thing at the hill with street tires last weekend I saw a dragster run a 4.70. Lots of foot brake cars running well into the 6s.

Yeah I got home around 8 friday night and was to tired to do anything plus being gone for a couple weeks just wanted to stay home. I will definitely let you know when I am home on a friday so we can meet. I know a good spot to spectate right next to the track. I usually sit in the back of my truck on a chair since there really aint stands on that side of the track lol

Just figured out the new format . . Haven't had time to mess with it because our racing season started the 5th of April . . Bad day at Black rock . . Won first round (9.15) but got #6 rod in the lights . . Had to race the pickup(s) to keep abreast of the points . . Got the new bullet back in a week ago last Thursday and had "New Car Blues", car hooked better, but after 3 carbon copy qualifying passes,(9.30) submarined on the first round pass, 9.27 on a .30 dial and then a 9.21 on a .27 dial in the buyback . . Plus redbulbed -.002 on the buyback . . Got two more races in this series and then we'll probably go up on the mountain for certain selected events . .

Busy Bee here guys.I will say My LS1 project snowballed.Its now a Blown LS1...2300 Intercooled magnacharger estimating 500hp rear wheels, Thats all I want and can handle and keep it drivable long distance or having to upgrade tranny etc. I will know the rear wheel HP for sure when the project is done. I will take the truck to Hawks 3rd generation camaro for the final tune.Should be a ton of fun. I am planning on driving it a long way. Installing a flatten 40 gallon tank under bed rails.Truck is going to be a total Black out truck including grill..Only shiny stuff will be the lip of the wheels..everything else will be Mat black including Grill and bumpers (Satin black) I am after a certain look. It ( Site ) will pick up when it gets cooler.

The old days of 2005 through probably 2011. I guess those were the good old days on here. There is a LOT of stuff and some funny stories burried deep in this forum.

I've gotten back into the habbit of checking in here several times per week, but it sure is quiet.

I agree with you 100 %. We have a mud racing forum that use to be busy as heck. EVERYTHING from rules, videos, new builds, up coming races, etc. was hot topics every day. Now it's rare anything is posted and if it is it dies pretty fast. I'm on FB, but it's just not the same to me.
