blown 540 1970 chevelle

I have a blown 1970 chevelle with lemons headers, 2 '' drop spindalls and the rest of front end is all stock,,I have 28 '' tall pro track street front tires on centerline 15x6 with 3.5'' back spacing and tires rub headers to much in the wheel well. Centerline makes a 4 inch wide rim 1.5 backspace but having trouble staying at a 28'' tall tire,,we put alot of work into the stance of the car. any suggesetions or what have you guyes run on your chevelles up front??? My car will be street driven and raced a few times a year.
