DD, I have to say I'm impressed with the speed and skill of your guys in the rescue of Hanna Anderson. Great job!

We've got lots of practice. Seems ever psycho kidnapper comes to Idaho to 'get lost'.
Our back country mountain rescue and recreationalists are very aware, capable and knowledgeable about the area, about who 'belongs' and who does not.

Moral of the story don't be letting some ole dude riding your daughter around etc ....this is what I gather by what I read. once these tatical guys get you cornered up its over the question is when. The FBI tatical team went down in that bunker that idiot was holding that kid a few months back and they ended his parade right quick also.

Glad the girl is alive..her challanges have just begun. She lost a lot family and mental.

On top of the rape and mental anguish, I just found out she was unaware of the death of her mom and brother.

He didn't tell her so he could 'control' her easier..total nutjob and I'm glad he got popped cuz he'd be in court as the 'victim', for sure.

Something that is not publicized with media but I can assure as a former officer there is a pre-game plan set by tactical units in cases such as this. There is a silent code among team members long before the mission begins if there will be a capture or NOT. In this case it was a one way ticket for this guy..Deep in the Wilderness, NO media...wasn't ever gonna be a trial.

In THIS particular case, I'm all for it. I'm hoping in ALL cases, it is done with much forethought and soul searching. WAY too many scumbags are run up the flag pole as a 'victim' and the REAL victim is run through the ringer......reports are and confirmed by the girl, that he fired a shot at a LEO...'provoked' - 'baited' or whatever, they got the job done. Bravo and Kudos...
