I wish it was a real one but I still had fun putting it together. I bought this 1/16th scale Mickey Thompson Grand Am Funny Car back in the 90's. It had been still sealed in the plastic with the original $29 sticker on it for years in my basement. I broke the seal the week after Christmas last year and started working on it a few hours on the weekends when I had time. Well its has rained here for 4 days straight and I am scheduled off all week so I finished it up yesterday. These are great model kits with excellent detail. So 5 months later its done, need to go find a display case and add it to the collection. Who says you are to old to build models, yesterday was my birthday and I was smiling ear to ear when I put the body on the chassis yesterday afternoon!

Looks real good I love old funny cars. I have not put a model together since I was a kid. I think I need to build one.

I should have stuck to models. Financially, I would be much better off. :?
