Mopar oil pan pickup ???

I bought the Mopar Performance 8qt pan p5007816.. I also bought the Mopar Performance oil pickup P5007817. My problem is the pickup will not clear the tray and hits the rods.. Did sombody stick the wrong pickup in the box or did I order the wrong item..

I know the 1/2 pipe pickup P5007818 is square is the 3/8 pipe 8qt pickup square also or round on the end.

Now i used the same parts you have in my big block challenger worked perfect, Can you get it threaded in the pump pickup hole? Sounds like wrong pickup. E-mail me your address i think i have a pickup that will work, Yours free of charge. [email protected]
