if i run shorty headers on a stock 5.3 ls compared to running long tube or mid length headers will there be a noticeable difference in power between the three ?

The shorty block huggers? Not worth the effort unless clearance issues..Mids are ok and LONG TUBES are the way to go..Very happy with my Hooker LT's..

i was looking at the price 800 for long tubes or 200 for shorty's
Stock 5.3, don't look for much detectable power changes. Larger changes would be needed to "notice" anything beyond a better sound...

well it gonna get a carb conversion done and maybe a cam over time so just looking to see if ill have any power loss form the three

i bought dynatek coated headers, 1 7/8 long tube for the camaro for 400.00 and they are nice, they also have 1 5/8
