flat tops with 306 duration cam????

i have a 454 .030 over stock crank and rods fattops and 049 bbc heads wondering if the 11-220-4 comp cam will work for that setup? heads are setup for cam but didn't know about compression ratio??

Wallace racing has a dynamic compression ratio calculator, with aluminum heads and pump gas with a good quench you want your dcr to be under 8.5.

I once had a 454 flat top std bore truck engine with a 305H .575-.575 lift cam and it worked great. Engine went 6.90 @ 3600lbs, but I did have a set of 291 cloced chamber heads. Hope this helps.
