roll cage for a full frame car

from what i understand i need outriggers for the main hoop to connect to the frame do i just need them for the main hoop or does every bar have to be welded/connected to the frame?

i know it belongs in the chassis section but i wasnt getting any where there

Your best bet is to get a rule book from NHRA/IHRA depending on where you plan to run. Then there will be no gray areas and you won't have to do things twice.
