leaking out rear of th350

i just reinstalled my th350 i just put a shift kit into and it seems to leak out the rear tail when i try to fill it ive only got it to hold a few quarts maybe 4 anymore just leaks out even when i try to work it threw gears any help would be great

Did you change and or drain the converter also?
Stock or deep pan ?

yea brand new torque convertor put 1 quart in when i installed and might have been able to add 3-4 quarts in tranny and its a stock depth pan, also its the highest stall ive used 3500(i know sounds low but its the most ive used) will i need to keep my rpm over that to get that to pump fluid threw it or won't it still pump up on its own just having the motor running; tranny's aren't my strong suit at all aany help would be great

Nothing more than idol till its full on the stick and tasks all the gears

Ive worked more on my tranny and still i checked the pump is pumping fluid and the tranny still seems to not engauging the gears. also adding fluid its trickling out the rear seal im going to replace it but and ideas would be great
