View Full Version : My Dad, My Mentor, My Hero...

My Dad has left us at Gods' calling. He was a Great man and a Great Dad. I learned so much from him. He had spent about a week in the hospital. He had a blood disorder called hemochromatosis which destroyed his liver and he developed an infection throughout his body causing kidney failure and fluid issues. In reality he died of a broken Heart. My Mom passed away about 2 1/2 years ago and alot of him died then. His last wish was to come home so he could go to his final home with Mom. With the great help from Hospice we were able to make that happen. He was home for 2 days and left us at about 7:00 p.m. last evening.
We're gonna miss you Dad!

Sorry for your losses. In time you will think about the good things you and your Dad did together. It's very tough but stay strong.
Dad's watching and will always be with you. :)

Tough deal to say good bye for now. On one hand you must be happy he is now home with your mom, but on the other he is not here anymore. It is one more piece in Gods puzzle that fits together in your family. Mom & Dad are home in the right place. Keep looking up & let no one challenge your faith... mom & pop are counting on you to put of God puzzle pieces together in this temporary place we are in. Scooter

Thanks everyone for your support. I've been on this forum for a while and only know a couple of people, but consider everyone a friend that I haven't met yet.

sorry for your loss ts1955, i know how bad it hurts but time does ease it up some. your dad is with his love now, your mom. and god so he is happy once again. thats how i have to think about things like this when they happen.we cant prove that it is true but isnt it great to believe that it is that way. ill be saying one for you and yours.
