scammer alery on Greg Reed BBCHEVY

Aparently I should have read reddnova`s post before dealing with Reed. He made verbal agreement with me and payment method, then backs out on me after telling me to send 3000 $ for heads. Then he sends e mail next day claiming his cell phone battery went dead so he can`t call me to stop payment saying he doesn`t want to sell. Good thing I checked e mail prior to sending $. I guess he couldnt borrow someone elses phone? Come on. DON`T TRUST THIS GUY FOR HIS WORD!!! I dont trade on here just because of guys like him. DON`T DEAL WITH [email protected]




Thankfully I checked e mail prior to sending $ he did send e- mail whick I checked sending pay pall money. I dont trade on here a lot for this very reason. He is a posterchild for reasons to not buy online. Don`t [

Graigs been on RJ for quite awhile & I have never heard the first bad thing about him..My definition of a scammer is one that lets you send the money & then dissappears..Anyone can change their mind,you just hope he doesnt have your money when he does..JMO

I'll tell you what, I've done business with Greg and found him to be a pleasure to deal with.Sold him a bunch of stuff, Usps tore one of the boxes up. Greg call's me tells me what's going on we clear it all up case closed
Greg could have been a total *%&$# and demanded this and that.We just both figured it out and moved on

Im lost here bbchevy owns the parts correct. he decides not to sell and emails you to stop payment, and never accepted any type of payment. How the F bomb does that make bbchevy a scammer! This topic is just wasted hard drive! :roll:

Hey dont get on me. Im just posting the facts to inform the racers of my experience with an individual. He could have called me and simply told me he didnt want to do the deal and I could have been on my way. He had my # on e-mails or easy to find on anywho.com. Why not just call? If I would have sent money before looking at my e mail next morning would I ever have gotten it back?I dont know. Other problem was we spoke for about week, telling him i was in time constraint, why lead me on for a week then no call just e mail saying issue came up, have to look at all parties interest, and my phone all of a sudden broke, come on. What is that supose to mean. Not good business in my opinion. I normally dont even check E mail regularly. Good thing i did that day. By the way to the guy that said i ran off (must be a chrysler guy), I didnt I just work a lot of hours and dont have a lot of free time to play with people on internet. That was the worst part of this whole deal, as I told Greg I just dont have time now Im scrambling trying to get diff set of heads. No harm intended just a beware. Im a racer just like u guys trying to make it. Good luck. You`ll need it if you ever come around St Louis, Ha Ha ,If I have heads by then.
