Pathetically, it's showing the ignorance and indifference to the system founded by the Constitution. Today, U.S.Government isn't taught in Public schools and few if any have any idea of what the Constitution and the Bill of Rights assures them . . Instead, too many believe that they have "Rights" to do as they please and that the Government will provide anything they need or want . . And they become very disturbed when that doesn't happen.

Today, the Politicians talk about "cutting entitlements" and are actually talking about cutting SS and Medicare, which aren't "Entitlements" at all but programs that have been paid into by the recipients and were promised they would get it back as a benefit. The problem isn't here, it's the money being spent to buy votes from a non taxpaying minority that's becoming a majority . .

Granted, there are going to have to be modifications on how, and to who, SS and Medicare benefits are paid, and probably with a rather strict means test . . But we're taking money from those who paid into the system and supporting a bunch of free loaders, who, as soon as any cuts are rumored, will take to the streets.
