Here are some quick pics of the new car. Waiting on crower for the lifters so the motor can be finished up. I will post final pics when this thing comes to life.

Thanks guys.

We are located in Alliance, OH which is between Youngstown and Canton.

The motor will be an aluminum 582. Brodix block, 3xtra 365 oval head, brodix intake with eagle crank and rods with diamond pistons. Rupert 1250 alky carb. Vickers Trans with Abruzzi converter. This combo in the 2010 car with the steel block weighed in at 1985lbs after cutting weight and ran 4.70-4.80 143-144mph and 7.50s 178-179mph. This car has some carbon fiber upgrades and the aluminum block with hopes to be under 1900 race ready.

And if the view from the cockpit ever gets like that we are in trouble!!!

He was all over it. I am pretty sure he polished the clear coat right off of it while he was reminding me he had 3 more years until he was 8 and could have his jr dragster.

Had some issues with it the 1st 2 weeks that we will blame on me 100%. Now that I am with the program on the aluminum block and how they expance versus the steel block we did get 1 good weekend on the car. I really need to get this thing on a scale to see what my weight is.

60'- 1.105
1/8- 4.831
mph: 144.33
1/4- 7.597
mph 177.69

Temp was high 80's and we were just under 3100' for the day. I did not write down humidity or BP.

Car is launching at 4600 and shifting at 7000.

These numbers moved less than .01 for the day. I don't know if I want to adjust any of the rpm settings. I am supposed to be at 5000 launch and 7400 on the shift but I like what I saw.
