WE, meaning the United States Military, though mainly educational support and SOF, have been in the Horn of Africa for about 15 years . . Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to have made much of a mark in some areas, especially the area that it was originally intended, Somalia . . But it has done a great deal for Ethiopia, from the educational support or "Quiet Country building" . . Re: Camp Lemmonier in Dijoubiti, a very large base supporting US military effort in the surrounding countries as well as Yemen and Egypt, both far to the North and at this time, very unstable . .
