292 rec port bbc heads

any one know much about them? have a 460 bbc stock pistons any way of checking compression without tearing heads off just got this motor in a trade and wondering if the heads are any good?

The only 292 BBC head I see is 6272292.
70-78 402 and 454 oval with open chambers.
