View Full Version : So I crashed my Comet today...

Cliff notes:

1-Illegal mexican landscapers tailgating white trash junkie lady.

2-Junkie lady makes sudden turn into drive way, illegal mexican's slam on brakes

3-Im about 5 cars back, slam on brakes, start sliding on freshly paved road surface.

4-Swerve to my right to avoid hitting the illegals, and figure the garbage cans off in the grass wouldnt be such a bad impact.

5-Destroy garbage cans and front end of my car (cans weighed about 150lbs each)

6-Mexicans hit junkie lady, never stop.

7-Junkie lady wants nothing to do with the police report and leaves the scene.


I think Im the only one out of the crew who actually had insurance and valid paperwork. :?

It sucks but mostly all cosmetic and will be fixed and Im glad no one got hurt. I never realized how bad my car stops in an emergency, but I can only assume the freshly paved road might have been oily still cause I did not hear any screetch from my tires, it just slid like on ice...

I feel like a complete looser right now..

Man, that sucks....of corse this crap never happens when your driving the daly work beater. gotta make ya sick.

This is true..Now to find a good body shop in my area cause 80% of the work is custom on my car. I dont want someone to pound and fill...

That sucks man. I hate ot hear of this crap happening. The good thing is you swerved and hit the garbage cans. The damage would have been lots worse if you hit the other vehicle.

That sucks, but it could have been a lot worse. Could have hit the illegal, put him in the hospital then on Obama care forever!

I Found a great body guy, and have Grundy insurance with zero deductible. Appraiser came today.
