Oil pan help

Has anyone used the one piece felpro gasket with a billet fab pan or similar?
Any problems?

I used the o-ring that came with it and siliconed the ends real good and the pan was leaking in the back in a few days just sitting on the jack stands!
Pulled it off and can not see why it was leaking, looked like a perfect gasket on the pan. I checked the thickness on the ends and it looks like the one piece will be thick enough but I thought I would see if anyone uses it on this type pan.

Have one on a gen 6 bbc with a moroso pan,works great not a drop after 6 months.

You'll get lots of different answers on this question. I don't build a lot of engines anymore, maybe 2 or3 a year. I donot use them unless the buyer wants to use one, and if they do i insist that they buy a stud kit for the pan, or i let the buyer install the pan. I've got one hanging on my wall for a sm/blk for the last 3 yrs. and nothing i have has one on it.
On the other hand lots of people swear by them.

I was also contemplating using the o-ring on side rails and just using the end seals and silicone the corners. Whatever it takes, I guess. Just was wondering what everybody else was doing with these pans.
Didn't want the ten quarts of oil to get too many MILES on it being poured in and drained out. :D

If it was sitting level on stands, you have way too much oil in the pan.

The front is a little higher!
It is a 10 quart pan. I guess I just didn't get enough stuff on it.
It is a fabricated pan so it don't fit just like a steel pan would.
