Lets have a little fun, nothing for the winner but some pride ;)

Going to dyno my new engine this week, lets take some guesses at what its going to make for HP and TRQ #'s

Here are the specs

598 CI BBC
9.800 Short Deck Engine
4.5 Stroke Callies Crank
6.385 Manley Rods
4.600 Wiseco Q16 Pistons 14.8:1 Compression

Cam- Roller Cam Custom Ground 800/780 Lift

Moroso Oil Pan, Steel with single trap door (nothing special)
Moroso Billet Oil Pump

Heads
BMF 385s Fully CNC'd
2.35 Stainless Steel Intake Valves
1.880" Stainless Steel Exhaust Valves

Sniper Intake Manifold Ported

With a 2100cfm Rons Terminator on top :)

Lets here some guesses, plan to run it up to 7500 on the dyno.

plus side of 1050 how much idk but thats making some serious power

i will go with around 1040ish with about 890 ft pounds of torque

Not yet it'll be tomorrow or friday,

My guess 1068hp and 852. I said 1050 when I went into it so anything above that is a bonus.

Motor Dyno. Advanced Product Design (APD) is doing the engine and they have a dyno in house also. Going to also dyno it with their new alky carb.

Just getting in from the garage. Want to say what a treat it was to deal with APD on this entire engine build. A lot of knowledge of cams and head work.

The results
Peak HP 1032 @ 7300
Peak Trq 899 @ 5800

Average HP between 6200 and 7300 rpms 1018
Average Trq - 793

M5 Alky it peaked at 1049@7300

It made a touch less peak then we thought it may but in the same not 1032 peak and 1018 average it was a very good combo all the way through. I have it in the car and almost ready for the track tomorrow afternoon.

Yes you did :) I assume this dyno is a little weaker then the last engine builders was. I'll know today :)
