still broke down here in west virginia...... the people at this local chevy dealer here cant find their ass's if they had a road map...compass.... and a friggin gps.....wtf

thanks man........ i need a complete drive shaft for a 2007 chevy crew cab dually 3500 diesel ........ it showed up at the dealer today at 5pm and i had it in my truck and test drove it by 5:30....lol they hit me for 1100 dollars for just the shaft ..... but im home :)

damn, I quess that being in the parts business I am spoiled to the fact I never pay list for anything. at least you are home but I am sure that made for a horrible holiday weekend.

Damn... that is awful. Glad you on the road again though.... I paid 150.00 last time I had my 69 Camaro drive line rebuilt, balanced, & the tube was even replaced & welded w/ new joints. Why 1100??? Must be a 2pc w/ carrier bearing etc... gold plated/14K?

i here ya......having a auto shop ourselves .... and dealing with chevy/ford/dodge everyday.... i know my cost on that shaft was $820...i did all the leg work and gave them the part number and told them that that the only 2 in stock were in the wv warehouse....... but they refused to give me a break on it..... but i'll be sure to post their name and how great their customer service was to some broke down out of towners all over the internet ....... :)
