468 bbc help

can any one help me ive been told different things by different people what exactly is a 468 just trying to get the facts straight

A 454 block bored 0.060 with a 4.0 stroke is a 467.1 cubic inch.
A stock 454 block with a 4.125 stroke is a 468.
Lots of combos you can make to get there.

ive been told if you take a 427 tall deck block and put a 454 rotating assembly in it it would make it a 468 is this true?

A 427 and a 454 have the same bore. If you put a 454 rotating assembly in a 427 it displaces 454 cubic inches. Here is a website with some specifics on the engines.
