Valve springs ?

I recently purchased a set of Edelbrock Performer sbc heads.My cam is unkown more like a rv cam.The new heads dual springs are rated to take 575 lift.I am sure my cam profile is not near that much lift.Could these stiffer springs cause a lobe to be wiped?

Very possible. Especially if it was broke in with the dual springs on it.
