I sent him a cashiers check for $570. He said his bank told him 2 week wait to clear it. I said OK no problem.
It's been over 3 weeks now and I've been getting suspicious excuses. The last of which was he didn't have my shipping address. It was on the envelope the check was in.
I called and got a female who said he was out and he'd call when he came back. No call back.
I sent him an e-mail tonight saying I wanted the shipping info by Monday night or proof of $570 coming back to me.
If he doesn't come through, I have the name and phone number of Tulsa prosecuting attny.
I got ripped off about 7 years ago by a scammer. I spent a few thousand to get back $600, but got the con man 5 years in the Penitentiary for Fed fraud. But I learned a few tricks on that one.
I'll let you know how this turns out.

Hummm. i live just 30 miles north west of tulsa.. tell him if he dosnt have time or he is way to busy to ship them,, give them to me and i will ship them..but it does take 10 days for a casiers check to clear. so i wouldnt see why he wont ship them,, also post up his name and info,, i bet he races Tulsa and we will know who it is <<<

Also at some point in time a business called "Cook Enterprises Mobil Home Service" was located at the address, although the phone number that was associated with this business is now listed to "Tomas Llamas" from a completely different address.
A friend of mine from Mounds Ok. asked about him on the TRP board, and one person answered that they thought he raced there in 2009.
I'm giving him tomorrow to show me a tracking number as proof as shipment, if it is not done, then I will employ every means at my disposal to collect and have him incarcerated.

Yes I saw the date on the add. That is wrong. I messaged him on RacingJunk 1/16/11 to tell him I wanted them. Then I sent him the money two days later. Given US mail delivery I figure 2/3 days untill it was in his hands.
Anyway he acknowledged getting the check and also that the bank clearance time was up.
I just got off the phone with him after calling and hiding my ID. I've been calling all morning with ID shown and no one would pick up.
He said he's been real busy and apologized because he hasn't had time to ship. He promised to ship them tomorrow and send me tracking info.
Maybe he is truthful, we'll see tomorrow.
Funny thing about the ad date though. I can't explain that.
I clicked on the "Report the sale" button and get a message that the item has already been sold, yet I don't see anywhere on the ad page that mentions that it has been sold, and I can't leave any feedback.
Maybe the Admins. can come on board and explain how this is happening.

I'm sorry if I'm wrong about you Steve, but you also told me at 7:40 PM tonight when I called you that they had been shipped today, and you didn't have the tracking number with you, but would call me back tonight and give it to me. To which I said just e-mail me the number.
Now you say you're not going to ship them and will send my money back?
I have records of every call that I made, whether someone answered, if I used caller ID, and what was talked about. Along with every e-mail and Racingjunk communication.
If you are not trying to scam me, I'm very sorry and would have retracted this whole thread with an apology and a "Steve is a great guy".
But at the very least you were a irreresponsible seller.
I understand the snow storm was a detractor, but if I had $570 of another mans money and wasn't going to be able to ship as was discussed, I would be reaching out to him to give shipping status daily, instead of making him contact me.

Well,i must be the other sucker for the jesel rockers...looks like he sold them twice...or more???I got the same run around as you,even the bankruptcy e-mail after i called his boss at Avduct.
The rockers i got were supposed to be Jesel Pro Series...he sent Jesel Sportsman the were supposed to be new last year with 30 passes.What he sent was the worst POS i have ever seen,1 shaft missing,2 stand bolts missing,3 roller tips siezed,all trunion bearings worn out,1 shaft bolt missing,in short complete garbage.i called him on it and he said to ship them back ...which i did,and then avoided me

I got a surprise from Fed Ex today. Looks like the Police were too hot on Mr. Cook, so he sent me the same junk that he had already tried to palm off on Grunt. With the exception of--NO BOLTS , two complete rockers and shaft missing.
I have talked to Grunt and he still hasn't got any of his money back.

Those are the same ones for sure...looks like they were brushed with a wire wheel. 2 of the tips are brushed so much the metal is worn away.Are 3 of the roller tips seized?...and the rest worn out?
I was waiting for this post..sure wished i had taken pics when i got them but i was so pissed i packed them up and shipped them back.Now you have them and i have no money...sorry Dave.Were they packed in an oily piston box?

Yes, they are pretty much worn out. He told me that he bought them new and only had about thirty passes on them also.
I found out a couple of weeks ago that he bought them from a guy in Syracuse NY used.
I'm going to hang on to them as evidence if nothing else. I'm also not dropping any charges
I wish he would've sent my money back, but this lowlife probably put it up his nose along with yours also.
If we don't get our money back I intend to see him in jail. Hopefully he will be the best girfriend an inmate ever had.

Filed a complaint with the Oklahoma States Attorney Generals Office and advised Grant to do the same. Hopefully will get the attention of somebody that will make an effort.

It looks like OK States Atty Office was a wash also. Seems like no law enforcement agency in OK wants to pursue one of their own against an out of state plaintiff.
