I was building a 402 BBC and just put some money in the heads but just came across a 502 BBC and was wondering if the 402 heads will work on the 502?

Mark 4 heads will work on a gen 6 block,if that's what your asking.Need to check the numbers and see if the 502 is a gen 5 or gen 6 and buy the right head gasket.the head gasket's are different around the water passages.
