Guy's I have noticed some common lingo in add's. that kills me. Like.

All fresh, just rebuilt, only 25 runs, Class winner. Trade value must be higher, what the heck is that one? :Might just be me. Sorry just venting. :roll: :roll:

2. runs exelent just needs water pump, tune up,or carb,ect
3. perfect body only minor paint bubbling

The sad part is most guy's have no idea how fast. :roll: The guy I got mine from said one thing and ,I knew it was B/S but I wanted it anyway.

Heck the car I trade him got a bigger motor on his way home. I told him and posted it as a 350, and he sold it and posted it as a 355.

Most guys don't mind fixing something up they want. I put $3500 in it so far. I knew I was going to ...but the car was really in bad shape. He made it seem like I could run it right now. Yea right. I did find out the REAL story from the guy that had it befour him. So I say call the guy befour the guy that has it.

Trade value higher?? That's simple to explain. Most people put an add on here thinking they can find a sucker to pay more than it's worth. I gotta say I have done that before. I paid way more for a motor (it came in my old Rabbit truck) than I should have. The motor was a pos and only made two passes and broke a rocker arm stud. After that I kinda got nervous about the rest of the motor so I tore it apart. I would have been better off buying the truck "turn key minus the motor" lol . I don't blame the seller. It was my stupidity for not knowing better. I actually sold him back the rods and pistons ( i think the crank too, but don't remember) and the NOS kit off the motor. I lost a bunch of $, but I learned a good lesson.

The saying I see a lot of is "Pro-Touring". Now to me a car with that title should have heat, AC, wipers, maybe a nice stereo, be able to run down the interstate at 75mph all day and NOT have a 10 gallon fuel cell. But I see cars on here with that title that are nowhere even close...JMO, I could be wrong... :lol:
