Ive changed the oil and plugs and plugwires and thats all the mant, Ive done to the motor. My Q, is do I need to ck the lashing on my lifters once in awhile and if so what do i set them at? Leave them alone

Leave them alone I agree, once the preload is set on a hydralic lifter, they should stay that way, lock-em down and run it.
Now if I heard one clicking, then that would be worthy of a looky loo.

On a side note:
I ran hydralic flat tappet cams for years before I ever went to solid rollers.
I never re-checked the preload once I set it and I ran mine on the loose side, just a tick over a 1/4 turn.......
I know we're talking about a hydralic rollers here but preload is preload.
